Why I Decided to Run

Why I Decided to Run

A lot of people have been asking me “Why are you running for office at all?”

The honest answer is pretty simple:

First, I’m running because very few people are actually willing to step up and do it. A lot of folks are frustrated with how things are going, and I hear the complaints every day. But instead of just sitting back and complaining, I decided to be one of the people who actually stands up and tries to fix it.

Second, it comes back to my military service. Serving in the Marines taught me about responsibility, commitment, and putting others before yourself. I feel like I still have more service left in me not just to my country, but to my state and my community right here at home.

I’m running because I believe ordinary people who understand real life; work, family, bills, and sacrifice, should have a voice in Columbus. I’m not a career politician. I’m a husband, father, veteran, mechanic, and neighbor who wants to make things better instead of waiting for someone else to do it.

If that sounds like something you can get behind, I’d be honored to have your support.
